Job summary

Phoenix Resourcing Services is seeking an M&E Supervisor for a large static site in Hatfield. The role operates on days, Monday to Friday, with a basic salary up to £50,000 plus an on-call allowance of £4,160 per year.

You will oversee a small team of electrical and mechanical engineers, ensure PM/compliance, and manage site log books, subcontractors, and hands-on plant duties as needed.

The package includes 23 days leave rising to 27 with service and matched pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications backed by an apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in facilities maintenance sector.
• Experience in supervisory roles or willingness to step up to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect completed PMs and reactive works on building services plant.

M&E Supervisor - Static Site

Opportunity for a building services maintenance supervisor to work client direct at a large static site in Hatfield. This is an ideal role for someone with an understanding of building services maintenance, compliance and health and safety management. This position is working days, Monday - Friday, paying a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum, with benefits package and on call allowance of £4,160 per year on top.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee a small team of electrical and mechanical HVAC engineers, providing technical support where necessary.
• Inspecting of completed ppms and reactive works on building services plant.
• Compliance management, updating and checking of site log books.
• Supervision of specialist sub-contractors when on site.
• Hands on when required on building services plant such as lighting, emergency lighting, AHU's, FCU's etc.

Qualifications/Experience required for this role:

• Formal trade qualifications, backed up by an apprenticeship, in either electrical or mechanical engineering such as City and Guilds or NVQ.
• Previous experience working in the facilities maintenance sector.
• Previous supervisory/team leader experience is highly desirable, however our client will consider experienced engineers that are looking for the opportunity to step up to a supervisory role.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum. 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to a maximum of 27 days with services). On call requirement 1 week in 5. Matched pension contributions up to 5%.
