Job summary

PRS in Hatfield is seeking an M&E Supervisor for a large static site. You will oversee a small team of electrical and mechanical HVAC engineers, ensure PPMs and reactive works are inspected, and enforce compliance and health and safety standards.

The role is days, Monday to Friday, with a basic salary up to £50,000 plus a £4,160 annual on-call allowance, and a benefits package including pension contributions up to 5% and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Formal trade qualifications backed by an apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ).
• Experience in facilities maintenance and building services.
• Supervisory or team leader experience preferred; capable of stepping up to supervise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a small team of electrical and mechanical HVAC engineers and provide technical support.
• Inspect completed preventive/predictive maintenance and reactive works on building services plant.
• Ensure compliance, update site log books, and supervise subcontractors on site.
• Hands-on assistance with building services plant (lighting, AHUs, FCUs, emergency lighting) as needed.

Hatfield

£50,000 per annum basic plus £4,160 call out allowance

Opportunity for a building services maintenance supervisor to work client direct at a large static site in Hatfield.This is an ideal role for someone with an understanding of building services maintenance, compliance and health and safety management.This position is working days, Monday - Friday, paying a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum, with benefits package and on call allowance of £4,160 per year on top.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee a small team of electrical and mechanical HVAC engineers, providing technical support where necessary.
• Inspecting of completed ppms and reactive works on building services plant.
• Compliance management, updating and checking of site log books.
• Supervision of specialist sub-contractors when on site.
• Hands on when required on building services plant such as lighting, emergency lighting, AHU's, FCU's etc.

Qualifications/Experience required for this role:

• Formal trade qualifications, backed up by an apprenticeship, in either electrical or mechanical engineering such as City and Guilds or NVQ.
• Previous experience working in the facilities maintenance sector.
• Previous supervisory/team leader experience is highly desirable, however our client will consider experiencedengineers that are looking for the opportunity to step up to a supervisory role.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum.

• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to a maximum of 27 days with services).
• On call requirement 1 week in 5.
• Matched pension contributions up to 5%.
