Job summary

Raven Search is seeking a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor in Cheshire to lead the full commercial cycle on varied M&E projects. You will work closely with delivery teams and clients, ensuring accurate cost control from pre-contract through final account.

The role requires technical substance and the ability to operate confidently across complex environments. The position offers exposure to industrial, food & drink, pharmaceutical and commercial sectors with an established client base and strong

Qualifications

• Solid M&E contracting background with end-to-end QS responsibilities.
• Experience across pre-contract to final account on industrial/food/pharma projects is valued.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contract forms and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full commercial cycle on M&E contracts from pre-contract to final account.
• Prepare payment applications and valuations per contract terms.
• Procure subcontractors and manage commercial administration.
• Track variations and maintain change control records.
• Prepare CVRs and cost-to-completion forecasts.
• Support tendering with commercial input at bid stage.
• Provide commercial guidance with project and engineering teams.
• Attend client and internal commercial meetings at project level.
• Ensure timely month-end reporting to senior management.
