Job summary

Vertiv in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee the full project life cycle from implementation through to final closure. You will ensure delivery meets timescales and budgets, and maintain forecasting and financial controls while building strong rapport with stakeholders.

The role requires a hands-on approach, with a focus on delivering on time, within budget, and with high quality. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND in engineering with an M&E bias.
• Minimum 2 years of managing M&E contracts, preferably to Prince2 standard.
• Working knowledge of commercial contract agreements.
• Working knowledge of project planning tools, especially Microsoft Project.
• Self-motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Effective management of projects to ensure efficient and timely delivery of all project obligations.
• Ensures projects are delivered in line with the opening margin.
• Seeks improvement possibilities during the project life cycle without compromising on quality.
• Provides assistance as required across the business to ensure successful project delivery.
