Chapman Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Area Manager to lead multiple Mechanical & Electrical projects for a growing building services contractor near Heathrow. You will oversee project managers, site teams and commercial performance, ensuring safety, quality and profitability across a busy project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an M&E contractor or building services environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience managing project costs, variations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across multiple M&E projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Manage Project Managers, Contracts Managers and site teams to deliver on time, on budget and safely.
• Support commercial management of projects, including contract performance and profitability.
• Review estimates and work with estimating during tender and pre-construction stages.
• Collaborate with MD to develop objectives, plans and budgets.
• Maintain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify growth opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Attend management meetings to review performance and workload.
• Uphold high standards of quality, health & safety and client satisfaction.
