CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a Government contract in Westminster. The role involves planned and reactive building maintenance, with a focus on facilities management and M&E building systems.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Proven experience in planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Work on mechanical systems such as plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems.
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems as needed.
• Perform maintenance following PPM schedules, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Manage reactive maintenance tasks from diagnosis to completion.
• Respond to reactive call-outs, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and other parties to deliver quality work.
• Maintain awareness of best working practices.

Hours of Work

9 am to 6 pm

Requirements

• City & Guilds or NVQ in plumbing (preferred)
• City & Guilds or NVQ in mechanical engineering
• Experience with building services
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Full, clean driving license
• Effective collaboration skills
• Current or eligible CTC clearance
