Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Romford, East London – £43,925.09 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in Romford, East London, to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance within a large commercial building. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and proven experience in Electrical building maintenance.

This role is suitable for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer seeking progression, offering a competitive salary and potential career development opportunities.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting installation, fault-finding, and lamping
• Emergency lighting testing
• Control panel maintenance
• Changing ballasts
• Monitoring BMS systems (hot & cold)
• All aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintaining and updating log books
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets
• Pumps and motors maintenance
• Water treatment

Hours of Work & Package

• Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
• Basic salary: £43,925.09
• On-call retainer: £1,085
• Bonus of £500 per completed AP duty
• On-call duty: 1 in 6 weeks, Mon-Sun (rest days Thursday and Friday)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Full company uniform provided

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 (Essential)
• City & Guilds 18th Edition (Essential)
• Ability to provide copies of trade certificates
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled with good communication skills
• Client-facing experience
