Job Description:

Salary: £45,000 + £2,500 annual bonus

Location: Knightsbridge

Our client is seeking an M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer, ideally with electrical or mechanical bias, with experience in high-end residential and commercial building maintenance. The role involves carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance within a luxurious residential complex.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance as per schedules and directives.
  • Ensure safety and professionalism in all PPM activities.
  • Produce technical reports and communicate effectively with the client team.
  • Adhere to QA and site procedures.
  • Assist in producing quotations and update/close tasks on CAFM system.
  • Maintain engineering standards for efficient operation.
  • Follow health & safety procedures for clients and contractors.
  • Attend meetings, provide timesheets, and work proactively for business success.
  • Manage sub-contractors and respond to BMS alarms and emergencies.
  • Operate within Permit to Work systems and deputise for the Shift Leader when needed.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (Mechanical & Electrical) or recognized equivalent.
  • 17th or 18th Edition IEE Certification or equivalent.
  • Approved apprenticeship or relevant experience in Building Services.
  • Experience in electrical installation, testing, and inspection.
  • L8 Water Management Training and knowledge of domestic water systems.
  • At least two years' experience in multi-discipline hard services environments, preferably in high-end developments.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, controls, and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, fault diagnosis, and PPM management experience.
