Job summary

Equans is seeking an experienced M&E Technician with a water systems bias to join our Colchester site. This full-time role involves 24-hour on-call duties, weekend intake duties, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The candidate should be proficient in mechanical, electrical and water system maintenance and able to work independently or with juniors. The successful applicant will maintain pumps, HVAC equipment, TMVs, tanks and BMS systems, carry out plant room inspections, respond to

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience with strong water systems knowledge.
• Experience in plumbing, TMV maintenance, tank inspections, flushing and water temperature monitoring.
• Maintaining pumps, water softeners, pressurisation units, air separators, heat pumps and expansion vessels.
• Familiar with BMS systems, HVAC equipment, sprinkler checks and plant room inspections.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical, electrical and water systems across the site.
• Complete plant room checks, plumbing tasks, water treatment activities and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain pumps, pressure systems, HVAC equipment, TMVs, tanks, sprinklers and BMS systems.
• Respond to breakdowns, support new works and follow all safety and compliance requirements.
