Job summary

Jark PLC in Maldon, Essex is seeking a Commercial Manager (M&E) to lead the commercial performance of electrical and M&E projects from tender through final account. This on-site role collaborates with project teams and senior leadership to manage contracts, bids, costs and margins, and ensure adherence to company policies and client requirements.

You will negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, maintain accurate commercial records, support pricing strategies and risk management, and help

Qualifications

Strong Commercial Management and Contract Management skills; NEC/JCT or similar forms of contract.
Analytical Skills and Business Planning for cost control, forecasting, strategic decisions.
Team Management and stakeholder coordination with project, site and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee commercial performance of electrical and M&E projects from tender to final account.
Manage contracts, prepare and review bids and proposals; track costs and margins.
Ensure all commercial activities align with company policies and client requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, site teams and leadership to support pricing strategies and risk management.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors; maintain accurate commercial records.
Assist in resolving commercial disputes or variations and maintain client relationships.
