Job summary

BP p.l.c. is seeking an experienced M&A Consultant to drive growth through acquisitions, integrations, and transformative programs.

You will manage opportunities from due diligence to post-deal integration, aligning people, processes and structures to realise long-term value. The role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, commercial acumen, and the ability to guide complex change across a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mergers and acquisitions or related strategy consulting
• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into recommendations
• Experience supporting organisational change or large-scale transformation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence working with leaders across multiple levels
• Experience facilitating workshops and group decision-making
• Knowledge of culture change and employee engagement programs
• Ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and relationship-building

Responsibilities

• Support and lead activities across the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition transformation
• Assess acquisition opportunities, identify value creation, operational impacts and risks
• Partner with leaders to design operating models and integration plans
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to address business challenges and support decisions
• Help align cultures and ways of working while guiding employees through change
• Develop engagement and communication plans to keep employees informed and engaged
• Identify leadership strengths and organizational capability needs within acquired businesses
• Analyse business, workforce and financial data to support recommendations
• Manage organisational change activities to enable smooth transitions
• Collaborate across functions to deliver integration objectives and measurable outcomes
• Contribute ideas to BP's long-term growth and transformation ambitions
