Job summary

Talantir is seeking a hands-on M&A Business Analyst to support multiple divestments with a focus on stranded cost analysis, data consolidation, and automated reporting. This role is on a hybrid basis in Sunbury-on-Thames or remote UK.

You will pull data from finance, operations, TSA models, and vendor files to create clear baselines, structure cost data, and build repeatable templates across deals. Strong analytical skills and experience with Power BI and Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data/Analytics, or related field.
• BP or energy sector experience is helpful but not essential.
• Experience with dashboarding (Power BI) and advanced Excel recommended.
• Excellent analytical, data consolidation and reporting skills.
• Strong data modeling and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and cross-border stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Pull data from multiple sources to create a consistent deal baseline.
• Analyze cost data to identify stranded costs, drivers, risks, and mitigations.
• Develop automated dashboards and reporting packs for leadership.
• Define scope and data needs with M&A technology projects and SMEs.
• Document and refine business and technical requirements.
• Support pre-completion tasks, data validation, and governance reporting.
• Perform data testing and checks prior to completion and hypercare.
