Job summary

Veremark Ltd is hiring a Business & Data Analyst to support integrating an acquired screening platform. You will work under the PMO, delivering analysis and data tasks within an M&A playbook, spanning processes, data mapping, and stakeholder engagement.

This remote-first, hybrid role focuses on data profiling, validation, dashboards, and ensuring accurate migration of client data while collaborating with operations, HR, finance, product and engineering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a business analyst, business systems analyst or data analyst, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Worked on a platform migration, system implementation or integration project as part of a team.
• Solid SQL (joins, CTEs, aggregations): comfortable writing your own queries to profile and reconcile data.
• Core BA skills: process mapping, gap analysis, data mapping, requirements and user stories, UAT.
• Some experience building dashboards or reports in a BI tool (e.g. Looker, Metabase, Power BI).
• Curious about how systems fit together, and confident asking engineers about data models, APIs and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Assist map the acquired platform: types, workflows, candidate journeys, client configurations and edge cases.
• Carry out gap analysis against Veremark's product using playbook templates, and present findings for decision.
• Keep migration plan and tracker up to date: cohorts, cut-over dates, dependencies and actions.
• Document current and future-state processes, and draft requirements and user stories for review.
• Build and maintain inventory of ATS/HRIS integrations, API consumers and webhooks, and each client's migration status.
• Profile the acquired platform's data with SQL: volumes, usage by client, active vs. dormant accounts, data quality.
• Run validation and reconciliation queries on each client cohort, and log data issues.
