Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Birmingham seeks a Manager to lead Transaction Analytics initiatives within EY-Parthenon’s deal advisory practice. You will guide analytics workstreams across buy-side, sell-side, and vendor engagements, shaping data-driven insights for deal decisions.

You’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, databooks and data models, communicating findings to executives and clients in a fast-paced deal environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial analytics or transaction experience.
• Experience leading analytical workstreams or projects.
• Proficiency with data manipulation and visualization tools.
• Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
• Comfort leading client discussions with senior stakeholders.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of Transaction Analytics workstreams across buy-side, sell-side and related engagements.
• Translate deal questions and value hypotheses into practical analytics workplans.
• Manage Executives and Analysts with coaching and quality control across data prep, modeling and dashboards.
• Lead client discussions on data availability, quality, approach and findings.
• Build and review reconciled data cubes, databooks and dashboards for due diligence and bidder Q&A.
• Coordinate with Financial Due Diligence, Corporate Finance, Strategy, Tax and sector teams for joined-up insights.
• Review revenue, margin, customer, and site performance analyses and tie outputs to the transaction narrative.
• Ensure outputs are accurate, documented, repeatable, and support client and investor questions.
• Contribute to reusable tools, templates and Birmingham team capability.
