Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Director to lead analytics workstreams within M&A. You will shape scope with clients and senior EY teams, and drive data-led insights across buy-side and sell-side engagements, building dashboards and data products that inform value drivers and risks.

You will grow the local Transaction Analytics capability, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to regional go-to-market efforts while maintaining high standards of client service.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in analytics, finance or due diligence.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
• Proficiency with data manipulation, integration and visualization tools.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Extensive stakeholder and client communication experience.
• Passion for delivering high-quality service and practical advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics workstreams across buy-side, sell-side and exit readiness engagements.
• Shape analytics scope, approach, timelines and deliverables with Partners, Directors and clients.
• Oversee the creation of reconciled data cubes, dynamic databooks and dashboards.
• Project manage teams across multiple engagements with quality and timeliness.
• Develop the Birmingham Transaction Analytics capability and mentor juniors.
• Build internal and external networks across Transaction Diligence and Strategy.
• Contribute to business development and go-to-market initiatives.
