Job summary

Interpath is a financial advisory firm actively expanding its Financial Services M&A Advisory team in the UK. We are seeking an Assistant Manager who will contribute to deal execution through financial modelling, valuation, data analysis, sector research and effective project management.

Working closely with senior team members, you will help craft pitch decks, IMs, and client presentations, while managing multiple deals and delivering insightful analyses on large data sets for clients and

Qualifications

Relevant transaction experience gained within M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate development, consulting or a related transactions environment.
Experience in the Financial Services sector is advantageous, with a preference for knowledge of banking, lending, specialty finance, fintech or insurance.
Excellent financial knowledge (accounting and company valuation) and understanding of financial statements.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions in Financial Services.
Candidates will have significant responsibilities and would be expected to work on multiple deals at the same time.
Performing financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research.
Assessing large and complex data sets and providing insights to clients and colleagues.
Supporting the preparation of data and marketing materials to support a transaction process.
Preparing client presentations in a clear and compelling manner.
Supporting Due Diligence processes.
Stay informed about market developments, industry best practices, and regulatory changes affecting M&A transactions.
