Job summary

Interpath is expanding its UK-based Valuations team and recruiting for an Assistant Manager. You will engage with clients on high-profile valuation assignments, developing valuation knowledge and skill sets across business, shares, intangible assets, and related areas.

The role involves building robust financial models, interpreting financial data, and communicating results to clients and internal teams while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CFA (or equivalent) – previous experience in Audit is beneficial.
• Strong interest in Deals / M&A and valuation methodologies.
• Well-developed analytical and quantitative skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Time management skills with ability to prioritise competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on industries, comparable companies and transactions to inform valuation processes.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and perform detailed analysis to support valuations.
• Interpret financial statements and relevant data to construct meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
• Effectively communicate valuation analysis and results to clients and internal teams.
• Contribute to the analysis of comparable transactions and quoted companies.
• Attend site visits and meet management teams to understand clients and business.
• Prepare first draft valuations and present internally.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new approaches and improvement strategies.
