Job summary

Equans, a Bouygues group company, is seeking an LV/HV M&E Technician to join our Embedded Energy team. You will operate and maintain LV/HV distribution, 11kV plant, and large boiler systems across UK sites, writing risk assessments and PTW documents, and supporting safety compliance.

Qualifications

• C&G Electrical Theory & Installation qualifications.
• C&G Test & Inspection 2391.
• Fault-finding and practical skills.
• Electrical generation experience is essential.
• Experience with large boiler plant would be advantageous.
• Confined spaces training or willingness to undertake training.
• Proficiency with LV/HV systems is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of HTHW boilers and 11kV generating plant.
• Mechanical maintenance of pumps and valves, water systems.
• Manage LV/HV distribution systems and safety document control.
• Use IT monitoring systems to track performance and faults.
• Write and apply risk assessments and method statements.
• Issue Permits to Work and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain health and safety documentation and records.
• Close out preventive and reactive maintenance tasks on time.
• Understand supply contracts and service level agreements.
