Job summary

Jayne Peirce Travel Recruitment is seeking a Head of Operations for a luxury travel DMC, with home-based flexibility in the UK and a London-based hybrid option. You will lead end-to-end operations, optimise processes, and manage supplier relationships in a fast-growing team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in luxury travel operations, DMC or tour operator background, and a strong eye for detail, with excellent written communication and multi-project management skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in operations within luxury travel or DMC/tour operator environments.
• DMC background is a real bonus, strong tour operating experience also welcome.
• Experience building or improving processes and workflows.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent written communication with a warm, friendly tone.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own trip confirmations end-to-end, coordinating amendments and cancellations with hotels, guides, drivers and suppliers.
• Build and standardise operating procedures, checklists and handover docs.
• Quality-check bookings to maintain accuracy and tone.
• Manage supplier relationships with timely, friendly communication.
• Partner with founders on day-to-day operations as the team grows.
