Harrods is seeking an Assistant Manager in Store Services to lead a 3:18 team of operatives and supervisors. You will drive performance through coaching, ensure up-to-date people management and training, and oversee cleaning operations and sustainability initiatives.

The role requires flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays, with day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Experience in a cleaning environment is essential, and strong communication is a must.

Formación

• Experience as an Assistant Manager in a cleaning environment or similar setting.
• Proven ability to manage a team and drive performance through coaching.
• Demonstrated HR policy awareness and adherence to people-focused processes.

Responsabilidades

• Be a present, proactive leader of 3 direct and 18 indirect reports.
• Organise Cleaning Operations, allocate tasks and review business needs.
• Oversee recycling activities, training staff on waste handling and sustainability.
• Manage materials, uniforms and equipment; ensure safety and training.
• Balance routine cleaning with daily reactive needs and shifting priorities.
• Coach and develop the team to achieve excellence.
