Job summary

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our resort recreation facilities, including pools, beach, spa, golf, and kids’ activities. You will lead and mentor the Recreation team, ensure safety and high standards, and collaborate with other departments to create memorable guest experiences.

The role emphasizes program development, event ideas, staff scheduling, and delivering luxury service in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in recreation, in a supervisory role.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred.
• Excellent customer service and guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Recreation Manager in developing and implementing recreational programs and activities.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach the Recreation team; assign daily tasks and schedules.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain records of program participation, equipment usage, and incident reports.
• Perform additional duties to support the Recreation department and resort operations.
