Champneys is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support kitchen and Food & Beverage teams in a luxury wellbeing environment. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist with stock handling and ensure safety standards are followed to enable chefs to deliver high-quality dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas and staff spaces.
• Wash kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery to support service.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and safe during service; ensure floors are dry.
• Follow and sign off cleaning schedules to show due diligence.
• Carry out deep cleaning of equipment as required.
• Keep storerooms clean and organised; floors swept and mopped.
• Store food deliveries correctly with proper stock rotation.
• Assist with stock takes and distribute goods to relevant departments.
• Report equipment faults promptly to senior kitchen staff.
• Maintain personal hygiene and presentation per company standards.
