Job summary

Champneys Springs is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams in a luxury, wellbeing-focused setting. You will maintain cleanliness, handle washing of equipment, and ensure safe, orderly kitchen operations to help chefs deliver outstanding dining experiences.

This zero-hour role requires reliability, attention to hygiene, and a collaborative attitude as part of a close-knit team within a renowned luxury hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Understanding of hygiene and safety requirements in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to work as part of a busy kitchen team and follow procedures.
• Reliable and detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas and storage spaces.
• Wash and prepare kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery for service.
• Keep floors dry and walkways clear during service and deep-clean equipment when required.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete safety and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with stock rotation and waste management per procedures.
• Report faults or issues to senior kitchen staff promptly.
