Job summary

Champneys Tring is hiring a Kitchen Porter on a full‑time basis. You will support kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in a luxury, wellbeing focused environment.

Your role emphasises hygiene, organisation and reliability across all kitchen areas during service. You will wash equipment, maintain clean storerooms, and help with stock and deliveries while following safety procedures and health standards to support chefs and service teams in delivering

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining hygiene standards in a busy kitchen
• Ability to follow safety and food hygiene procedures
• Reliable, hardworking and detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of cleanliness across all kitchen areas
• Wash kitchen equipment and crockery to support service
• Keep storerooms clean and well organised; rotate stock
• Sign off cleaning schedules and carry out deep cleans as required
• Assist with stocktakes and deliveries; report faults promptly
• Communicate effectively with chefs and wider teams
• Manage waste and maintain safe, dry floors and walkways
