Job summary

Champneys is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams in a luxury, wellbeing focused environment. You will help maintain cleanliness, prep areas and stock, and ensure equipment is ready for service.

This role suits someone who takes pride in hygiene and teamwork, is reliable and detail focused, and wants to build a career in hospitality. It is a zero-hour, on-site position with a pay up to £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas.
• Wash kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery to support service.
• Ensure walkways are clear and floors are dry during service.
• Follow and sign off cleaning schedules to demonstrate due diligence.
• Carry out deep cleaning of kitchen equipment as required.
• Assist with stock handling and storage of deliveries.
• Report equipment faults promptly to senior staff.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and wider teams.
