Job summary

Ardencote Manor in Warwick (Hiddenwell Luxury Wellness Retreat) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time permanent role. You will carry out general repairs across the hotel and assist with plumbing, electrical, mechanical and basic building tasks.

You will perform routine checks on lighting, heating and utilities, support planned maintenance, and coordinate with Housekeeping and contractors to keep the property running smoothly. A proactive, guest-focused approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across the hotel.
• Helping with plumbing, electrical, mechanical and basic building tasks.
• Completing painting, decorating, tiling, re-grouting and other general upkeep.
• Carrying out routine checks on lighting, heating and utilities.
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance.
• Responding quickly to maintenance requests and unexpected issues.
• Completing regular fire safety and emergency lighting checks.
• Keeping workshops, tools and storage areas clean, safe and organised.
• Working closely with Housekeeping and other hotel teams to prioritise repairs.
• Helping oversee contractors and suppliers when required.
• Keeping maintenance records and digital task lists up to date.
