Job summary

Hastings Hotels is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Bars Manager for its Grand Central Hotel in Northern Ireland. You will lead the food and beverage team, oversee day-to-day bar operations and deliver 5-star, luxury service.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE standard with grades A-C in English and Maths.
• Strong operational and bar management experience with cash handling, stock control and budgeting.
• Experience in preparing rosters and wage forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the beverage team with effective communication and training.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the Observatory bar and restaurant.
• Prepare and dispense drinks to guests with high presentation standards.
• Maintain bar stocks and display products to Hastings standards.
• Handle guest requests, resolve complaints, and promote hotel services.
• Contribute to annual budgets and manage costs for the bar.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing policies.
