The Peninsula London is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead a small team and coordinate all group and event bookings. Reporting to the Director of Group & Events, you will support re-contracting annual bookings and drive revenues through upselling while creating exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years in planning, banquet, events, and conference services.
• Experience in hotel, travel or luxury consumer industries.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills; adaptable and positive.
• Fluent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate larger VIP group and event bookings.
• Support the sales team with re-contracting annual bookings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, F&B & Marketing to drive revenues.
• Increase group & event revenues through creative proposals and upselling techniques.
• Create memorable events through client-focused planning and execution.
