Job summary

Eden Hotel Collection Limited is seeking an experienced Events & Reservations Manager to lead the journey from initial enquiry to booking and, for events, through to the day itself. You will read guests, tailor proposals, and convert interest into revenue while maintaining luxury service standards.

Based at Bovey Castle, you’ll manage conferences, weddings and events, coordinating with teams to deliver remarkable experiences in a remote location with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar events, reservations, sales or hospitality role, ideally within a hotel or similar luxury environment.
• A genuine passion for people, with the ability to build natural rapport and develop strong guest relationships.
• A commercial mindset, with the confidence to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries, events and priorities while maintaining great attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive, positive 'give it a go' attitude, with the resilience to handle challenges and find solutions.
• Strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the journey from initial enquiry through to booking and, for events, through to the day itself.
• Turn guest visions into memorable experiences.
• Manage conference, wedding and event administration.
• Enquiries alongside hotel reservations, ensuring prompt, knowledgeable and personal service.
• Utilise packages, promotions and sales opportunities to maximise revenue.
