Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Runner to support our front-of-house teams and ensure a superior dining experience for members. You will deliver food and drinks from kitchen/bar, assist waiting staff, and maintain organisation across service areas to guarantee efficient service.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a similar high-end setting, strong wine knowledge, excellent communication, and a polished professional demeanour. A vibrant team culture and ongoing training await.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Excellent knowledge of food & beverages and wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach.
• Confident, polished and professional demeanour.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Bring food/drink quickly from kitchen/bar to members' tables.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Provide service for an assigned section and build member relationships.
• Polish cutlery and prepare table additions in advance.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and station setup.
• Ensure service equipment is stored correctly.
• Attend regular meetings with front/back of house teams.
