Job summary
CHANEL Manchester Selfridges is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead sales and store operations, drive customer experience and profitability. You will coach teams, manage stock, and partner with HR on staff development, ensuring Chanel standards across all client interactions.
In this role you will oversee visual merchandising, clienteling, events and risk management, fostering a collaborative, high-energy environment.
Qualifications
- Boutique management or supervisory experience.
- Developed leadership skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience supporting VIP client events and customer service excellence.
- Strong knowledge of fashion trends and clienteling techniques.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Team Managers to deliver Chanel customer experience and achieve targets.
- Partner with HR to recruit, train and develop staff; manage succession planning.
- Oversee operations, stock control, loss prevention and POS system familiarity.
- Drive client development, CRM partnerships, events, and clienteling initiatives.
- Monitor store performance and communicate strategic vision to the team.
