Job summary

Joseph Phelps Vineyards is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to provide front-of-house support and help deliver luxury guest experiences. You will assist with tasting and private experiences, maintain glassware and water service, and help prepare indoor and outdoor spaces for guest arrivals.

Responsibilities include restocking wines and collateral, managing service areas, and supporting events and guest interactions with a professional, high-touch approach.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hospitality experience with a focus on luxury service.
• Strong guest service skills with a commitment to high-touch experiences.
• Excellent communication and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-of-house support to ensure a seamless, high-touch guest experience.
• Support tasting and private experiences by maintaining glassware, water service and presentation areas.
• Assist with set-up/breakdown of indoor and outdoor spaces and keep service areas guest-ready.
• Restock wines, tasting collateral, menus and retail merchandise as needed.
• Maintain clean glassware storage areas and service stations to ensure availability.
• Assist with opening/closing duties for the Guest Center and support hospitality events and experiences.
• Acquire working knowledge of the estate and current wines to anticipate guest needs.
• Greet and assist guests, ensuring smooth arrivals and hand-offs to Estate Ambassadors.
