Job summary

Oakland Care is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly team in Maidstone. You will support meal service, keep dining spaces tidy, manage stock and temperature checks, and assist residents with day-to-day non-care needs, helping create a warm, home-like atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have experience in luxury settings, a proactive 'can-do' attitude, and strong customer service skills to engage with residents, families, and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxurious setting.
• 'Can do' attitude and willingness to support residents with high-quality service.
• Customer-facing experience including building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service in resident rooms or dining areas.
• Ensure water/drink jugs are regularly refilled.
• Set up and clear tables before and after lunch service.
• Record and monitor temperatures of fridges and service stations for compliance.
• Maintain the Bistro to stay clean, organised and stocked.
• Attend to residents' non-care needs (e.g., curtains, TV channels).
