Oakland Care in Wigmore, Gillingham is seeking a part-time Hospitality Assistant to join a friendly team. You will support mealtimes, keep dining spaces tidy, manage stock and temperature checks, and assist residents with day-to-day non-care needs.

The role offers a warm, welcoming environment with opportunities to contribute to residents’ daily lives and to work closely with Head Chef, Reception Teams, Housekeeping and Lifestyles Team.

Qualificações

• Previous experience of working in a luxurious setting.
• 'Can do' attitude and willingness to work with us in ensuring we support our residents with the best quality service.
• Customer facing experience including building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with meal service either in resident rooms or dining rooms.
• To ensure that water/drink jugs are regularly refilled in resident rooms.
• Help set up and clear down tables before and after lunch service.
• Recording and monitoring the temperatures of fridges and dining room service stations to meet compliance standards.
• Maintaining the Bistro to ensure it remains clean, organised and consistently well stocked.
• Attending to residents “non care” related needs including opening/closing curtains, changing TV channels etc.
