Job summary

Hand Picked Hotels is recruiting for a Conference & Banqueting Assistant to join the team at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa in Nantwich. You will help run events, set up spaces, and ensure smooth operations across banqueting services to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role offers a full-time schedule, union with weekends on a rota, and a range of staff benefits designed to support career development and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high levels of service in hospitality settings.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time during events.
• Willingness to adapt to different roles across the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Support operations within the Conference and Banqueting area to Hand Picked Hotels standards.
• Set up and take down of equipment (tables, chairs, props, decorations).
• Maintain knowledge of food menu items and availability across bar and restaurant.
• Communicate and delegate in line with daily functions and events.
• Collaborate with team to achieve departmental goals and improve processes.
• Engage with guests to ensure a memorable Hand Picked experience.
