Platinum Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is seeking a skilled Sous Chef for Bath to lead a kitchen team and assist in delivering luxury seasonal cuisine across restaurant, events, and private dining. This role emphasizes strong leadership, high standards, and hands-on service in a reputed hospitality setting.

The successful candidate will coach staff, manage stock and costs, and help drive exceptional guest experiences while maintaining superior presentation and flavour across multiple service

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a professional kitchen team.
• Experience in catering for large C&B functions.
• Focus on quality, presentation, and seasonal cooking.
• Ability to guide and develop colleagues through training and practical support.
• Confidence working across restaurant, private dining, and events service.
• Good awareness of stock, costs, and kitchen operations.
• Reliable, organised, and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef with food preparation and service.
• Help deliver creative, high-quality seasonal dishes.
• Maintain excellent standards of presentation, flavour, and consistency.
• Train, guide, and support kitchen team members.
• Lead by example during service.
• Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Monitor stock, costs, and supplier relationships.
• Support menu delivery across the hotel and special events.
• Help create an exceptional guest experience.
