Job summary

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to lead and manage the Lung Cancer Screening Programme (LCSP) digital systems across the Northern Consortia. The post holder will ensure safe, resilient systems configured for high-quality patient care, reporting and pathway performance.

The role requires specialist advice on complex system issues, governance and cyber security, plus ownership of documentation, tests, and continuity plans across multiple sites and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in health informatics and handling sensitive patient data.
• Knowledge of governance, cyber security standards and clinical safety expectations.
• Ability to lead system administration, configuration and change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management, configuration and support of LCSP systems.
• Ensure systems comply with trust policies and information governance.
• Provide expert advice on data quality, reporting and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with Northumbria and North Cumbria consortia for system portfolio.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including DR and training materials.
