Peterborough Diocese Education Trust is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee lunchtime activities, ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, and promote healthy eating habits for pupils during the lunch period.

The role requires enthusiasm, approachability and the ability to establish positive relationships with children, staff and the local community. It offers a permanent contract, 6.25 hours per day over 38 weeks per year, with a supportive school culture and opportunities for development.

• Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly demeanor.
• Build good relationships and respond to playground issues fairly.
• Understand how to tackle challenging behaviour with respect and following the Behaviour Policy.
• Promote healthy eating and table manners; support good eating habits.

• Appreciate Child Protection importance and safeguarding welfare.

Pay Grade: Grade C3

Full Time Salary: £25,614 per annum

Actual Salary: £3,629.93 per annum

Hours: 6.25 hours over 5 days per week, 38 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, professional Lunchtime Supervisor to work within our Lunchtime time. The successful candidate will understand the importance of a fulfilling and nutritious lunch, ensuring that children are fuelled and ready for an afternoon of learning. You will also help provide a safe and enjoyable environment where children can play with their friends, build positive relationships, stay active, or simply have space to relax and recharge before returning to the classroom.

• Is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
• Is an energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models our values and ethos at all times.
• Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school
