Job summary

Charfield Primary School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lunchbreak Supervisor (1:1) to help provide a safe, sociable lunchtime experience for our pupils. You will support a student with high needs during the lunch period, assisting with meals and supervision, while helping to create a calm and fun lunchtime routine.

This fixed-term role runs until 31 August 2027, is term-time only (38 weeks a year) and totals about 6.25 hours per week, with 1.25 hours daily during lunch.

Salary: £13.28 p/h

Working hours: 6.25 per week

Working weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Our Lunchbreak Supervisors play a vital role in creating a safe, happy and well-organised lunchtime experience for our pupils. Each role involves working 1.25 hours per day during the lunch period. In this role, you will be supporting a student with high needs during the lunch period.

We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Lunchbreak Supervisor to join our school team and help make lunchtimes a positive part of every child’s day. You’ll work closely with staff and pupils to create a safe, sociable and fun environment. Whether it’s setting up the dining hall, supporting children during meals, or leading play and activities in the playground (or indoors on rainy days). Your presence will bring stability, encouragement and fun to our lunchtime routine.
