Job summary

Selwood Academy are looking to appoint two enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants. Monday - Friday Working 1 hour 10 mins per day Term time only Grade 1 SCP 3-4 (£13.28 per hour - £13.48 per hour)

This on-site role at Frome involves setting up dining area, supervising pupils during lunch, and ensuring safety and orderly behaviour. Training will be provided, and previous school experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• To assist in setting up and clearing away the dining area daily, assembling tables, putting out chairs and sweeping floors.
• Direct supervision of pupils during the lunch break.
• To ensure pupils are well behaved in the school, in adverse weather conditions.
• Where pupil conflicts arise deal with in the appropriate manner, being aware of bullying behaviour.
• Understand the appropriate laid down course of action in cases of personal injury to pupils.
• First Aid as required.
• To attend a termly meeting with the line manager.
• To be willing to work extra time for events such as the Christmas meal.
• Previous experience of working in a school would be helpful but full training will be given.
