Job summary

Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust is seeking a committed Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (4.5 hours per week), working 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday, term time only. You will safeguard children during lunchtimes, help with distribution of lunches, and support positive play while ensuring safety and following school guidelines.

Qualifications

• Build a strong and appropriate rapport with children.
• Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Support children in their play, while maintaining safety and following behaviour guidelines.
• Demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard children during the lunchtime period.
• Clearing and tidying away after lunch.
• Distributing lunches to children.
• Encouraging positive play and interaction among the children.
