Hartley Brook Primary Academy is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to supervise pupils during lunch periods and support their wellbeing on the playground. The role is 11.5 hours per week, permanent and term-time only, with an actual salary in the stated range.

The successful candidate will promote positive behaviour, ensure safety, and help create an inclusive lunchtime environment in a busy school setting. Prior experience is beneficial but not essential; safeguarding and DBS checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Encourage positive behaviour and reinforce the school's expectations.
• Support children in the dining hall and promote good manners.
• Monitor playground activities and help create an inclusive environment.
• Assist with the organisation of playground games and activities.
• Respond appropriately to minor incidents and report concerns when necessary.
• Support pupils in developing positive relationships with their peers.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
