Job summary

Kings Ash Academy, part of Thinking Schools Academy Trust, is seeking an additional Midday Meals Supervisor on a fixed term basis to supervise pupils at lunch, promote safe play and wellbeing during the midday break.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to manage behaviour, assist with duties such as clearing spillages and table cleaning, and may include first aid duties if trained. Working hours are 11:30 to 13:30 each day. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work as part of a team and seek positive solutions.
• Ability to supervise pupils during lunchtime and maintain safety.
• Willingness to undertake first aid duties if trained.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in dining areas.
• Maintain good behaviour standards.
• Assist with ancillary duties (clearing spillages, cleaning tables).
• Provide welfare support including first aid (where trained).
• Attend training to increase knowledge and skills.
