Job summary

South Failsworth Primary School is seeking a Casual Midday Supervisor to support children at lunchtimes on an ad hoc basis, potentially leading to further opportunities. The role is contracted for 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

with an hourly rate of £12.77. Start date is as soon as possible and the closing date is Friday 2 October 2026. You will supervise the lunch hall, playground and classrooms, building positive relationships with children and staff, and promoting a safe, engaging lunchtime

Responsibilities

• Supervise the children in the dinner hall, playground and classrooms during lunchtimes.
• Be able to develop and maintain positive relationships.
• Enjoy engaging children in a range of play activities.
• Be a positive role model, following the school’s mission statement and inspiring lifelong learners.
• Have a positive approach to behaviour management and help ensure lunchtimes are safe and positive for all children.
