Job summary

South Failsworth Primary School is seeking a Casual Midday Supervisor to support children at lunchtimes on an ad hoc basis, potentially leading to further opportunities. The role is contracted for 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

with an hourly rate of £12.77. Start date is as soon as possible and the closing date is Friday 2 October 2026. You will supervise the lunch hall, playground and classrooms, building positive relationships with children and staff, and promoting a safe, engaging lunchtime

• Have a positive approach to behaviour management and help ensure lunchtimes are safe and positive for all children.

South Failsworth Primary School are seeking to appoint a Casual Midday Supervisor to support our children at lunchtime. They will be needed on an adhoc basis to cover staff illness and training. This could lead to a permanent position.

Hourly Rate: £12.77

Contract: Casual between 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Closing Date: Friday 2 October 2026

• Be able to develop and maintain positive relationships
• Enjoy engaging children in a range of play activities
• Be a positive role model, following the school’s mission statement, inspiring and creating lifelong learners
• Have a positive approach to behaviour management and help to ensure lunchtimes remain a safe and positive experience for all children.
