Wyvern Academy is seeking a midday supervisor to support pupils during lunchtime. You will help create a calm, inclusive dining environment and encourage good hygiene and respectful behavior. Your role includes working with pupils with diverse needs and collaborating with staff to ensure a positive, safe experience for every child.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to create a safe lunchtime environment.
• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, safeguarding their safety, wellbeing and dignity.
• Encourage good hygiene, table manners and healthy eating habits.
• Support pupils with individual needs to ensure a positive lunchtime experience for all.
• Set up and clear the dining area, keeping the hall clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Clean and tidy equipment, including trays, beakers and cutlery.
• Maintain calm and organisation during busy or challenging moments.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet every pupil’s needs with care and creativity.
• Bring energy, positivity and joy to lunchtime.
