Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking a Midday Meals Supervisor to oversee students during lunch, manage canteen entry/exit and supervise duty points around the Academy. The role requires calm, professional supervision and a strong commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.

You will work 7.5 hours per week (1:00 pm–2:30 pm daily) in a school setting, supporting a safe, orderly lunchtime environment and serving as a positive role model for pupils.

• Excellent communication and rapport-building with students and staff
• Commitment to welfare and safeguarding of students
• Ability to supervise lunchtime routines calmly and professionally

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch period and manage entry to and exit from the canteen
• Oversee duty points around the Academy and model calm behaviour
• Address issues calmly and politely as a role model to students
