Wyvern Academy is seeking a Lunchtime / Midday Supervisory Assistant to support pupils during the 11:30am–2:00pm lunch period. The role focuses on safety, reassurance, and helping children feel included, with an emphasis on encouraging independence and positive social interaction.The post offers a full-time equivalent salary of £25,614; part-time, term-time salary is £7,405 and the role is 12.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall and around the school.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Encourage independence, communication and social interaction.
• Help pupils feel safe, settled and included.
• Promote good hygiene and healthy eating.
• Set up, maintain and tidy a welcoming dining environment.
• Work with colleagues to ensure each pupil gets needed support.
