Job summary

Park Hill Primary in Coventry is seeking a reliable Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to support pupils during lunch break. You will supervise in dining and playground areas, help with meals and clearing up, and lead play activities to boost enjoyment. Lunchtime Supervisor Assistant - Park Hill Primary

Working Hours: 6.66 per week - Term Time Only 38 weeks

Park Hill Primary are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant who have a real passion for working with children.

What is the job role?

Ensuring the supervision, safety and welfare of pupils during their mid-day break: in the dinner areas, playground and circulation areas.

Assisting with the setting out and clearing away of tables before and after lunch, clearing tables and disposing of waste food and drink.

Improving children’s enjoyment of lunchtime, by setting up and leading play activities, this will include supervising games, encouraging appropriate use of equipment both on the playground and in the classrooms (during wet play)

Managing and promoting positive behaviour of children.

The successful candidate will:
