Job summary

St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary Academy in the West Midlands is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during the school day. The role is permanent and term-time only, paying £12.85 per hour for 6.25 hours per week (£3,522.82 per annum).

You will model positive behaviour, organise games, and help ensure a safe, enjoyable playtime in line with school policies, under the Head Teacher’s direction. Closing date 31 August 2026; interviews 5 September 2026.

St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor.

The successful applicant will:

• Provide a positive role model to all children in the academy within the age range of 4-11 years.

• Ensure that lunchtime activities are supported and managed in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures under the overall direction of the Head Teacher which may include undertaking playground and play leadership duties and ensuring the children have a safe and fun playtime, organising games and helping to settle issues that arise.
